i always knew i wanted to be an artist. the summer before my senior year
of high school i found my medium when i discovered my dad's nikon fe3.
i took some college photography courses and worked in labs and
camera shops until photography became the air i breathed. i started out as
a still photographer on independent films with aspirations of being a war
photojournalist, when much to my parents relief i stumbled upon
weddings and portraits.

my photography is defined by allowing moments to happen. i use film
because it expresses depth, beauty, and natural light in a genuine
way. i come to every shoot open to the fact that each subject is
unique, and it is my goal to embrace and capture that.
